Workshop Appliance Technician Job Responsibilities
As a Workshop Appliance Technician, your duties will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing a variety of domestic appliances such as washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, fridges, ovens, and microwaves.
- Performing accurate assessments for strip-and-quote jobs.
- Managing your assigned workload through our digital job management system.
- Ordering parts and updating repair statuses.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workstation.
- Communicating professionally with staff and managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Workshop Appliance Technician Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on appliance repair experience.
- Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Fluent in English and/or Afrikaans.
- Valid South African ID, driver’s license and clear criminal record.
- Trade test or certification (advantageous).
